Sprinting...

I did 8 x 45 second sprints today, well, 7 because I fluffed one (more later).

I also did a long warm up and tried to beat my low pull following the advice on the Getting a lower "Low Pull" thread on the Free Spirits site. My low pull efforts were not that successful, but I did create a handy Power to Split converter.

The 8 sprints were fine - and faster than last time apart from one where I inadvertently started the clock running when fiddling about. It was a bad start, I was still recovering and I did not pull to the end. Otherwise the intervals went well and were faster than last time.

I was rowing early because today is our 9th anniversary. Unfortunately MBH is unwell so we celebrated with fish and chips and watching Robin Hood.

Metres today: 6,710

What rest do you use for these, Thomas? And what's your target distance?

Not tried anything this short for my intervals, but I'd expect to do these with maybe 2:00 rest (probably at least 30s of active rest in there to avoid stiffening up) and 250-260m target.

Hi Max,
the training plan is not specific, other than to say if you do 1x1AN take 1 rest. So for the 45s, I take 45s rest.
All the best, Wolfie
