I rest until my heart rate gets to 2 x resting as per the C2 plan, but
I don't like this approach really. This is why I will be moving to
the Pete Plan after BIRC since it seems to play more to my strengths.
I was splitting at 1:30.1 average I think across the seven completed
ones. I was experimenting with approaches to get the fastest time the
easiest... In the end it appeared that 10 fast short strokes, 20 long
hard strokes and 10 fast short strokes worked best.

Sorry you're not feeling well again, Thomas. Hope it goes away soon and before BIRC at least!
I know it's going to make a huge difference how I feel on the day - anywhere between 6:35 and 6:55 I expect.
