No rowing yesterday because we made a late decision to go out to "The Bourne Ultimatum". none on Friday either. Today should have been 3 x 3' TR (flat out) so I thought I would try and post a half reasonable 1,000m (i.e. sub 3:15 @ 1:37.5).
I went off way too fast (idiot!) - not learning from the lesson of aiming low to build confidence.
I blew at 500m when the split dipped below, wait for it, 1:36. It had been sub 1:35 for some time. Ouch. Idiot.
My heart was not in it for the rest of the row and I could not complete any of the three reps.
My tooth roots still hurt and I have moved on to a different antibiotic. Can't blame that for my poor form though, but I'll try I guess.
Painted the undercoat on the front door today. Blue next week - I'll have to paint early because the drying time is about 12 hours. I hope it is a nice day! Once that is done the surround to the front door will look jaded of course and that will have to be next...
