Another solid row

I am pleased with my £80 (inc delivery!) purchase through ebay that gives me a dedicated rowing computer. It's a brand new Athlon XP 2000, 40GB HDD, 512 MB RAM (+ my old NVIDIA MX 440 card) with a 50+ frame rate on rowpro. The money used to buy it was that which I made selling my old PM2+! This is not the only piece of new kit in the garage. After the wetness in there last year that led to some paint fpeeling off the wall, I invested (heavily!) in a dehumidifier. It had made a big difference to the state of the room though the floor is often wet on cold days after a long row. I have not had the courage to drink the water it recovers yet though it looks as pure as pure!

Another 10km row today, at "10s slower than endurance intervals" meaning around a 2:00 split. I was confident after yesterday though and pushed a little harder (1:59.7), though kept my heart rate below UT1 (162 bpm). This was markedly better in heart rate terms than 24/11/07 when I was slower with a higher heart rate. Mind you I was consciously trying to rate higher (25-26 rahter than 21-22) so that may have something to do with it.

Got to be happy with today. Feeling fitter, weight coming off again and healthy at last!

Metres today: 10,561
