My legs were sore this morning after yesterdays efforts so I elected to row a long low heart rate piece. I did a warm up on high damper and at 2k in realised I was rating 22 at a heart rate of 130. This was my old 10k fitness assessment challenge so I thought I would give it a go.
The deal on that is no warm up at all, damper 5, strapped feet, rating 22, heart rate 130. I'd failed on the warm up part but that would only slow me down. I thought that if I even came close to my "pb" on this piece that would be good.
I ended up with a 42:49.9 (2:08.5) which is only 10 seconds outside my best time for this. Pleased with that!
