Being a bit nerdy I then plotted a graph of the damper vs drag factor before and after.
A difference of 24 (14%) on damper 10! It shows that my feeling recently that damper 7 was "about right" was correct since it corresponds to damper 5 as-was.
So, you'd think this is all good news. Sadly, the dust has kicked off my asthma and I am not sure I'll be rowing later!

I agree it's a little "nerdy" Thomas, however VERY interesting non the less! Proves the theory doesn't it.
I must get around to giving my machine it's first clean I suppose!
I think you could get a good effect without removing the cover. It might be worth you doing the same as me but with an extra set of data for the "intermediate-external-hoover" :)
