I missed out the first row on the plan (pdf, page 17) which was a 30' UT2. Today was scheduled for 2 x 12.5' UT1. Now, I appear to have been obsessing about 15' UT1 pieces and decided to make this session a one 15' and one 10' piece at UT1. A 15' UT1 is becoming my new fitness test I think. Last season it was 10,000m @ 130 HR but that gets boring. I may do it some time this season just to see but the 15' UT1 is quicker and can be slotted in to the programme pretty easily.
Anyway, my performance on the first piece proved that I have been under the weather. Last week's row was my pace boat but I really struggled to keep up with it and in the end only just broke 3,000m. The 10' UT1 was quite slow by my standards and barely sub 2:00 split. At least I am back on the machine.
I have been pondering cleaning out the machine too. The drag factor appears to be declining so the screwdriver, dustpan and brush may be coming in to play.
Later: I am feeling far too drained for such a short and easy session. Definitely under the weather.
