I have no idea what is going on with my body. My schedule was 2 x 15 minutes at UT1 (161 heart rate). I put in a pace boat of the UT1 row from 2 days ago and it annihilated me. I did raise the damper to 9 though. This is partly because I want to build strength but also because I have realised that the drag is tailing off on the machine and it needs a clean.
The RowPro analysis of the two rows shows my heart rate was 1% higher, but the distance was 2% lower. Thinking about it this is probably explained by the drag factor since I was 10% slower on the rate and went 10% further on each stroke. Maybe I should start recording drag factors and stroke rates for full comparison. I will think about that.
I got slower and slower through the two pieces. In the second one I went wobbly after 5 minutes and gave up on the split and concentrated hard on the heart rate. My split at the end was something like 2:05 which is very slow.
First rep was 3,836m (1:57.3) and the second 3,682m (2:02.2).

The weather doesn't help either - I found 7k much more challenging than it should have been because of the humidity.... sweating buckets before being even slightly short of 'puff' ain't good.....
