BUT, the row (10k) went well! I set off at 2:00 split and watched my heart very closely. It went up slowly. Much slower than I have been used to recently. This was good. I hit 5,000m with a heart rate of 153, and didn't hit 160 until 6,500m in. Given that I was struggling to get to 7,000 at ALL at 2:00 split this was all good.
My throat felt odd throughout, but my heart rate was slow enough that I was not stressing out my lungs. I think they need more time to recover. I got home pretty comfortably with a heart rate of 172, and only slight weakness in my right leg. My leg had been packing up after about 5,000m in the last few weeks so it is all good really.
Metres today: 10,000
