I think I broke my 15' UT1 record by a couple of metres as I went through 15 minutes on the first rep but typically RowPro said there was "PM2+ noise" and I lost a lot of the summary data. Maybe I will get a PM3 after all.
John asked about the "replay" functionality in RowPro. I only discovered that yesterday after seeing it at BIRC 2006 and realising it must be possible. You simply set up a session as normal but replace yourself in Lane 4 with a previous row in exactly the same way that you set up a pace boat - by simply clicking the [4] button. After that RowPro goes in to play back mode with the rather basic functionality of pause and play! Still, it is a nice feature. The row was good today. The thing with UT1 rows is not that you are in pain - they are supposed to be sustainable - but that your power declines and declines and declines as you get tired. The heart begins to drift from the proscribed rate and you have to concentrate hard to hit it. An hour on, I feel quite drained. This is good. I need to be worked if I am going to improve fitness!
Metres today: 11,254 (scooting up the meterboard, on JanetS's tail!)
