My PM3 arrived today - easy to fit but I am not super impressed with the USB cable coming out vertically downwards - and no cable clips with the packaging. I was also a little annoyed that the PM3 came with a log card when I had shelled out for my own as an extra purchase! Nowhere does it say that the PM3 comes with. Ah well.
Timely, real-time coaching from Paul S got me up and running with my lifetime metres typed in, and the PM3 only lost them completely once. So far. RowPro picked the PM3 up first time no problem which was nice, but the sudden death of my laptop was not so impressive. That only happened once too!
I used the fish game for warm up/down and rowed a nice 51' UT2 piece that let me play with all the display options. The PM3 updates pretty slow - I am used to an instant split at the finish of the stroke but there is a tiny delay which I guess I will get used to.
Not much time tonight so I'll stop there.
