Better and better

After yesterday, I thought I would see what holding 2:00 felt like and set myself the challen ge of rowingn 2:00 for 30 minutes with my heart rate under 170 (anaerobic threshold). The "rules" were that I had to stay ahead of a 2:00 pace boat but stop if my heart rate was over 170 for 10 continuous strokes.

It was close! But the most I had was four strokes in the last couple of minutes.

Does this mean a pop at 15,000m tomorrow? Good question. I am certainly not 100% (dry lips following mild virus earlier in the week) and some vino may pass my lips for Easter lunch.

But I may give it a go. Very pleased about today.

Metres today: 10,692
