Supposed to be doing my first VO2 piece today, but am absolutely shattered. not sure if this is the result of too much late night marking, too much rowing, not enough rowing or what. I had a planned day off yesterday, and after a parents' evening today I did not feel much like working hard for an hour. To be fair I have felt tired all day - as usual I quite enjoyed the parents' evening though I could not persuade the year 11s to bring enough tea despite the offer of bribes! Only four cups when my record is twelve in two and a half hours. The trial of getting enoug tea when talking all night could be a whole other blog in itself. Should possibly be an entry on a nice cup of tea and a sit down. My exhaustion might be a result of reading about the great Matthew Pinsent. He pulled 9007m in 30 minutes, rating 20 AT ALTITUDE
.
Tomorrow we are taking 160 kids to the science museum, then I have been collared for a meeting after school as soon as we get back. Not best pleased about that, but the price of promotion! I have cried off my cricket club committee meeting tommorrow in the hope I feel up to rowing some of the tension out of me. Otherwise it will be three days off. Not good.
Metres in the last two days: Big fat 0.
