Built to sprint?

Today was a long recovery row. I have been used to doing these at 1:58 and sailing through.

Today I struggled through a 10k at just under 2:00 split. My heart rate crept up to 160 odd and I backed off a little at that point.

I suspect this is because the sponsored row has made me in to a sprinting machine. The 1k PB still amazes me. I am suffering on the long rows though! I do think I should have had more stabs at the longer PBs when I was finding the long rows easy.

Rest day tomorrow then on Thursday a RowPro race over 30 minutes for the CTC. I will be aiming for another PB but that means a 1:49 split all the way. Gulp.

Metres today: 11,005
