Was a bit wheezy after the warmup, so popped back to the house for some serotide and didn't push it too hard. The first three I did at target pace, with the intention that if I was OK the last two would be sub 1:45. I went off trying for 1:45 in the fourth but bottled it and left the sub 1:45 for the last row. As usual now, the notes stored in my workouts tell the story of how the row panned out.
Che new chimney lining is in! Sadly we have to wait 10 days for the cement to dry slowly and naturally so that it doesn't crack in the fire. But it looks great and the quality of work and of the fitters is worth the stupendous expense.
