A few days off. It was really not going well and I realised that I had some sort of virus. The massive fatigue over the last few weeks might possibly have given that away, but I am a bit dim at the best of times about my own physical health, despite the PM3 monitor on the C2 giving me hints.
Today was a very gentle return, not least because my mother had filled me to the gills with high tea a couple of hours beforehand! I decided to do a "22/130" row - I have not done one of those for ages. I set off too hard because the HR monitor did not come up and rowed to a 45 minute odd time - which is fine. It was stupidly easy rowing and about the pace I would aim for if I did a 40 mile row later in the year on a 40 mile row.
At least I am back on the machine. I am still finding the seat uncomfortable. I have no idea why, but I always feel too far over to the right and end up shifting around a lot. This inevitably moves the seat around and the problem gets worse and worse. I hope it sorts itself out.
