After yesterday I was pretty glum. I sought to do something achievable today and set out for a 2 x 5k with the first relatively "hard" and the second strapless at 2:00 split. The first piece was pretty good. My heart rate crept up to 170 and my seat was still "wrong" but I got there. The second piece was hard! My heart rate eneded up at 176 (above AT!) and I struggled to keep the split at 1:59.9. I had a big wobble about 3k in but stuck it through.
So today was progress. Still not ready for a Pete Plan row yet though. I will try for a 10k at 1:57 tomorrow I think and see what happens.
Today was one of the rare days when the kids were at school and I was at home. I found time to try and sort out my pension - does this mean I am truly middle aged now?! Help.
