Lovely return from holiday...

Our holiday was wonderful. Super relaxing. The worst bit was the taxi journey too and from the hotel travelling along tortuous narrow lanes up and down a mountain. The taxi driver was a looney and I got sea sick. If we ever go there again I am going to get a ferry round the coast!

The journey back was tortuous - easyjet delays and prime time at Stansted. We got to bed at 1:00am and were woken by Harriet (she'd been put to bed by mum and dad) at 2:00am. Needles to say she was astonished and pleased to see mum and not keen to go straight back to bed!

I rowed tonight - another 15' UT1 piece and it was OK. Better than before the holidays but still stuck around May's performance level. Maybe I have more blood/a good rest/better lungs? Not sure. My elbow still feels odd though.

Back to work on Monday after the best summer holiday yet after three years back in teaching.
