Still groping around a bit on pacing, so aimed for 4 seconds off previous rep for this one. Last time round, 1:47.2, so I tried for 1:51.2. Actually, I aimed for 1:52 on the first, but felt strong so "gently" pulled it down through the last 1,000m.
I paid for this on the second rep, slipping to 1:51.4, and was a little nervous heading in to the last (2,000m) rep. I slipped back to 1:51.6 or something but again surprised myself in the last 500m, which must have been at around 1:45 pace since I tugged the split down to 1:50.0 dead.
I warmed down watching the Sarah Jane mysteries on BBC iPlayer. Comfort TV.
Rowing regularly, not ill, and losing weight. Good news really.
