The C2 Plan

Originally posted at: http://www.freespiritsrowing.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=60534#p60534

We have the Pete Plan (which I love), but it is very intense and I am not ready for that. Yet. When I got back in to rowing (and started with FS) I was on the C2 plan. It got me sub 7 and I enjoyed it. Now that I am woefully out of shape and (sadly) scared of the effort of going sub-7 again I am going to go back to the C2 plan. Back to UT1s, UT2s, AT, TR and AN...

You can read about the guide here: http://concept2.co.uk/training/guide
The training bands are here: http://concept2.co.uk/training/guide/training_bands
Calculate your bands here: http://www.freespiritsrowing.com/conten ... e=hr_bands

I plugged in my details to the interactive training guide and got this: Thomas' training plan

So, next time I row it is TEST. 2,000m flat out to see if I can get my estimated target of 7:30. Erk.

I am hoping that posting my progress here (and cloning it to my blog) will encourage me to actually do the rows. The whole NZ jaunt has greatly affected my regime. It has been non-existent for some months.

Anyone else on the C2 Plan please feel free to join in.
