On Monday I had a mystery illness that took me home from work and straight to bed. My midday on Tuesday I was OK. It was probably something I ate?
Anyway, no rowing until Thursday, which meant that I had had six days off again. Yesterday I was rubbish. Did just about 5k with the first 3,000 at 2:00 pace, though I had set off to do a 10k. I set my sights lower today, aiming for a 5k at 2:00 pace, but there was absolutely nothing there and I chucked it in at about 1,000m.
Usually I would have dobbed it in at that point, but I had to do something given the amount of chocolate cake at school today, so I just rowed blind for 2,500m. This earned 153 calories, which is about a mouthful. Ah well, I can have a beer to celebrate ;)
