10k :)

The Pete Plan wanted a hard row today, but it was only my third row back in the fold so I was sensible(!). I thought a sub-40 10k would be pretty hard anyway.

I aimed for 2:00 for each 500m but found I was toddling along a little faster, money in the bank! At 6.5k I wobbled. But I thought
"row 100 strokes then it's only 10 minutes to go". I hung on and counted down the last minutes stroke by stroke. Indeed, I got faster and faster and the last 500m was done at around 1:52.

I am pleased with this! Only about 36,000m left for 1,000,000 this year. I can't believe I'll manage this feat given how much I haven't rowed this year.

Metres today: 10,000
